CHECK US OUT

Washington Square Music Festival has been providing free evening concerts in the park since 1956 and has been a corner-stone of Greenwich Village life ever since. Our site has lots of information about our history, including press coverage and awards, photos of performances and the park, video clips from performances, our performers, and more. Check out the links below or the menu above to learn and see more.

How do we do it?

All of our performers and musicians are paid at union scale, and all of our concerts are free ... so guess what? We survive by generous grants from our sponsors, lots of help from volunteers, and private donations by individuals like you. Consider making a donation today!
